Mitchell Community College has a rich history spanning more than 160 years. When Mitchell College joined the North Carolina Community College System in 1973, and the word “Community” was added to its name, it simply validated the longtime relationship the College has with residents of Iredell County and surrounding communities. Contributions continue to support Mitchell additional programs, events and special initiatives assuring high quality opprotunities for our students.

Endowment for Excellence serves as the organized fundraising arm of Mitchell Community College. The Endowment enables the College to expand educational programs and services for Mitchell students through its opportunities for giving.

Scholarships offer an opportunity to “name” a fund in honor or memory of a loved one while supporting student education.

Mitchell Alumni Association encourages all former students to stay involved in the campus life of Mitchell Community College.

Bequests allow contributors the option of leaving a legact to Mitchell or the Endowment in their will.
