Megan Suber joined Mitchell Community College as the full-time Public Information Officer in December 2014. Suber will coordinate the College’s internal and external communication and marketing efforts, overseeing both print and digital media. She recently served as the Coordinator of Student Activities/Recruiter for Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton. Suber graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in English, professional writing and a master’s degree in higher education administration.
Originally from Morganton, Suber moved to the Lake Norman area in 2012 when her husband Charles joined Binder Chiropractic (Statesville). They have two children, Jackson and Charlotte, and they look forward to having a greater connection to the Iredell community. She notes, “This is an exciting time to be at Mitchell! I look forward to helping the College as we continue to innovate, educate and best serve our students and community.”
