College Debuts New Logo
Statesville, NC – Mitchell Community College announced a new logo and tagline today as a part of a College-wide rebranding. Mitchell aims to reintroduce itself to Iredell County and the surrounding area as a comprehensive multi-campus community college offering college transfer options, innovative career programs and competitive workforce credentialing.
The new image is a result of a comprehensive marketing study conducted during Summer 2014 that included both qualitative and quantitative analysis from faculty, staff, students and the community. “Our new logo embraces our historical columns with a fresh look,” said Dr. Tim Brewer, Mitchell’s president.
The tagline “be prepared to excel” speaks to Mitchell’s longstanding commitment to its students, faculty and staff and the community. “Our new tagline makes the statement that our students should be prepared to excel,” Brewer added, “and our administration, faculty and staff are here to help our students excel.” In addition, Brewer noted, Mitchell helps the community at large excel.
Mitchell Community College serves 12,000 students annually through a variety of curriculum, continuing education and workforce development programs.
