Fall BLET day class boasts 100% pass rate
Mitchell’s fall 2015 day Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) class completed their state exam on Wednesday, December 9, with 100% of students passing. The BLET class graduation will be held Friday, December 18 at 6 p.m. in the Continuing Education Center auditorium at 701 West Front Street, Statesville.
Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) is designed to give you the essential skills required for entry-level employment as a law enforcement officer with state, county and municipal governments, as well as private enterprise.
Mitchell’s BLET program utilizes State commission-mandated topics and methods of instruction. Students must successfully complete and pass all units of study, which include the certification examination mandated by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission and the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Education and Training Standards Commission, in order to receive a certificate.
