Music Events and Performance Opportunities
From its beginning more than 150 years ago, Mitchell has provided campus and community audiences with outstanding music performances from professional and student musicians across a wide range of musical styles and traditions. Our commitment to bringing great music to Iredell County continues as we present dozens of free performances each year and host several continuing community music groups.
We hope that you will attend our concerts, but we also invite you to experience the fun and personal fulfillment of performing in our Community Band, Community Chorus, or Inspirational Choir. No prior performing experience is required. If you love to play an instrument or enjoy singing, we hope that you will contribute your notes and add your voice to the great music that Mitchell is making in Iredell County.
