Mr. Cedeño earned his B.A. in Music at Butler University in 1984. He earned his M.M. in Music Theory in 1985 at Butler University as well. He went to Boston University for additional studies in Music Education in 2014. Mr. Cedeño studied in orchestra conducting, violin, voice study, choral conducting, and conducting, teaching, and coordinating orchestra activities. He has been a Spanish Teacher Assistant and Director and Conductor of Merida Youth Orchestra in Venezuela. He has been a private violin tutor since 1984. He was an orchestra/string director in Concord, NC for a number of years. He is the Principal Conductor and Co-Founder of the Lake Norman Youth Orchestra. He is also the Strings Instructor at the Gaston School of Arts. He has toured the world playing, singing, and conducting for people whether it be solos or with a group.

Mr. Cedeño has taught in multiple high schools and has taught in multiple secondary schools in Venezuela.
