Developmental courses do not generate credit towards earning a college degree, diploma, or certificate; however, enrollment in developmental courses does apply towards financial aid calculations and status as a full-time student. 

Developmental reading/English courses are five credits and each math course is one credit.

Developmental Education Course Grades

You must master a minimum of 80 percent of all developmental course material to progress to the next course level. Upon completion of a developmental education course, you will be awarded a P for pass or R for repeat.
