Mechanical Engineering Technology

Prepare to work in mechanical and manufacturing engineering fields as a mechanical engineering technician or begin work on a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. On either path, you can become knowledgeable in engineering graphics, engineering fundamentals and materials and manufacturing processes. Become an expert in computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), coordinate measuring machines (CMM), computer numerical controls (CNC), machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, and AutoCAD® and SolidWorks® software.
