High School Credential Preparation (HSE)
Classes are offered to help you achieve your High School Equivalency Diploma. Paper Based and Computer Based Testing are available to earn your HSE.
You must pass all subject area tests in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies to earn your HSE diploma from the state of NC. There are no fees for the classes and materials but testing fees are currently $10.75 for each computer-based test and $15 for each paper-based test.

Adult High School Diploma- A partnership between Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina and Mitchell Community College. The Access Center offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are 16 years or age or older to earn an Adult High School diploma at no cost.
