Concerts

At Mitchell, we believe in the power of music to entertain, uplift, and inspire people. In addition to a college transfer degree in music, we offer a variety of solo recitals, ensemble concerts, music theatre, opera and band performances in Shearer Hall, a state-of-the-art concert hall. 

We present a series of recitals by our music students and a series of recitals by music faculty members, who are professional musicians. Performances include piano, voice, guitar, flute, violin, percussion, brass, and wind instruments from the spectrum of classical, jazz, and popular music styles.

Periodically, Mitchell provides concerts by local and traveling professional ensembles. 

We hope you will share in the joy of music by attending our concerts this year. The complete concert schedule is published each September.
