Stories of Excellence – Mallory Roseman
Mallory Roseman has big plans in life. Having spent extensive time abroad teaching and immersing herself in other cultures, Roseman has found her calling in the field of civil service and diplomacy. And Mitchell has played a foundational role in her dreams.
Roseman began her studies at Mitchell in 2007, quickly focusing in on her educational and career goals. She graduated in 2010 with a 4.0 GPA and continued her journey at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating with a bachelor’s in Psychology and working several years in the field, the focus she gained at Mitchell inspired her to change her career direction to international affairs. Roseman traveled to Hungary and began a teaching position, learning a great deal about life abroad as she made lasting friendships and continued her travels across Europe.
Currently she is pursuing a master’s degree in International Studies with a focus on Government Intelligence at North Carolina State University with the goal of becoming a United States Diplomat. “Mitchell helped me balance my responsibilities with my future goals and taught me to consider the willingness to work hard as a point of great pride,” Roseman reflected. She noted Mitchell is a great option financially for students. Roseman went on to recommend Mitchell to everyone, particularly those who are searching for a purpose or transformative experience in education and in life.
