Learn about health care and nursing and the role nursing plays in the lives of individuals. Mitchell’s Associate Degree Nursing program emphasizes the role of a nurse as a member of an interdisciplinary team focused on providing safe, individualized care. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).

The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program typically has more applicants than available space. Applicants must meet additional requirements including specific science courses, certifications, evidence of physical and mental health, etc. Competitive enrollment programs may have different application deadlines and requirements.
